Sports Complex Park Trail Improvement Project
This in-house design project includes the design, permitting and construction of the Sports Complex Park Trail Improvement project, which includes the replacement of the existing, perimeter eight (8) ft wide, asphalt walkway/trail path (approximately 3500 LF) with a new eight (8) ft wide concrete walkway/trail path. The proposed work shall include removal & disposal of existing asphalt walkway/trail path, re-working existing base, sub-base, backfilling, grading, compaction site preparation, concrete placement, site restoration and associated improvements. The proposed improvements aim to enhance the appearance and integrity of the walkway/trail path at the Sports Complex while supporting the City’s Strategic Goal #1, “Tamarac is Home” and Goal #4, “Tamarac is Vibrant” through the proposed improvements of the park
This project is part of the Recreational Trails Program (RTP), and awarded a Federal Grant administered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for approximately eighty (80) % grant funding with a twenty (20) % match of local funds as approved via Resolution No. R-2023-030.
